The Hopsack Jacket

A cornerstone of the A.D. Sartoria collection, our hopsack jacket is tailored with a relaxed silhouette and broad shoulders to create an elegant, balanced drape. It features a classic notch lapel and a 3-roll-2 front with a slightly lower button position to create a flattering V-shape. The hopsack fabric has an open weave, making it breathable, durable, and versatile, with the ability to be worn comfortably throughout the year.

Crafted in north-west Tuscany and built on a full floating canvas. The jacket features unstructured shoulders that enhance ease of movement, while the armholes, under-collars and lining are fully made by hand to ensure lasting comfort. A barchetta breast pocket and patch side pockets add versatility, making it a refined yet adaptable choice for any occasion. Every buttonhole is hand-sewn, highlighting the level of craftsmanship behind each piece.

The jacket is a very versatile everyday piece. It pairs well with classic grey trousers, whether in lighter fabric or heavy flannel, as well as with jeans.

The jacket sleeves come unfinished to ensure the right sleeve length for each customer. You can bring the jacket to your local tailor, or email us your preferred sleeve inseam and we will alter it and add functional buttons for you.
