A Few Days in Florence: Pitti Uomo 110

We took a trip to Florence for Pitti Uomo 110, a few days filled with great conversations, new inspiration, and plenty of espresso.

Florence always feels special to visit. Not only because of its beautiful streets, rich history, and incredible gelato, but because this is where the journey that became A. D. Sartoria began.

Pitti Uomo is always a highlight. The fair brings together well-dressed people from all over the world, and wherever you turn there is another interesting conversation about tailoring, fabrics, or the small details that make classic menswear so fascinating. We spent our days meeting with the mills, exploring new fabric collections for the coming seasons, and discussing ideas for future garments.

Of course, Pitti is just as much about the open-air exhibition of personal style, where classic tailoring meets individual expression. You see everything from classic navy blazers to linen suits in bold patterns, vintage accessories, and colourful combinations.

Our days were filled from sunrise to sunset and into the night. Even though we know Florence well, there are still countless places yet to be explored. One of our favourite customers recommended a wine bar in the southern part of the city. We happened to walk right past it, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to stop. It’s been added to our list for next time, and we’ll be sure to make time to enjoy a glass of wine there.

Florence has long been one of the great homes of classic menswear. Its tailoring tradition, known for soft shoulders, elegant proportions, and natural comfort, has shaped the way we think about clothing. It is also here in Tuscany that our jackets and suits are made by skilled artisans who continue a tradition of craftsmanship passed down through generations.

We leave the city and return to Copenhagen inspired by a place rich in culture and craftsmanship. We’ll try to bring a little of that spirit home with us and look forward to the season ahead.
